We are getting married on march 6th, I have bought a present for our bridesmaids, groomsmens, and our moms, still debating about what to get our dads either hankies or cufflinks, but here is where I run into an issue, my fiances mom has been remarried and so has his dad, neither one (of the new spouses) helped raise my fiance he was older like 14 or 15 with his dads new wife and like 17 or 18 with his moms new husband, well I am getting ALL the guys boutinerres including his moms husband, I am getting all the ladies a corsage, including his dads wife (which he is not with anymore, but are coming to the wedding together) so I get his dads wife a present/and his moms husband a present?

Right, I need help, I’m desperate! My dad as well as my boyfriend both just had their birthdays and i wrecked my head for weeks in advance to buy them really nice presents (was quite proud with a george foreman grill for dad and a playstation chair for my boyfriend) and now Christmas is coming closer and closer and I have noooo idea whatsoever.

hidden in the drawer, night stand. i was looking around franctically when i saw a receipt for a ring somewhere else…Instead i saw a photo of my hubby with his baby’mama tucked underneath his cufflinks box!??..and it was just placed next to my post-wedding morning polaroids that we took together in bed….Is he thinking about her,…wanting to leave me…??? my heart breaks , feeling so sad ,…cried the whole day today….what should i do??….confront him alone.or not..??pls help

I have just stumbled across your wonderful website/blog and you have solved a puzzle that has troubled me for many years! Some 20 years ago I lived in New Jersey (I am English and am now back in the UK) and while there purchased a wonderful Devil stick pin from an antique dealer, I forget how much it cost but it wasn’t a great deal. A little later I saw a matching pair of cufflinks but at the time they were quite expensive and I could not afford to buy them. I have regretted this ever since! My efforts to track down other pairs has come to no avail until today when I saw your photograph of the William Link devil cufflinks – the exact ones that I saw!
Do you know if these turn up on the market very often and if so do you know anyone who has any for sale? I would dearly like to match the links to my tie pin.
I attach a photo of my stick pin for your interest, it would date I guess between 1900 and 1910 since it has L & A in three interlinked circles. This is one of my most treasured pieces and I wear it often on special occasions for that added bit of flair!
