What should I get for my fiance as a wedding gift?

I am looking for something other than a watch or cufflinks. I would like to buy him something unique, but no too expensive.

Why not buy him a Glass or Pewter Mug with Your Names and the Date of your Wedding engraved on it, and while your at it buy yourself one too… they will be useful gifts and a nice rememberence. You could also get him a nice picture frame, put your picture in it or a picture of the both of you from a special date, and have the frame engraved with a sentiment that is know to just the two of you.

It is not tradition to buy the groom a wedding gift, he is lucky enough as he is getting you for the rest of his life.

A scrapbook illustrating your relationship so far…….maybe you can include little souvenirs (if you keep them) just as cinema tickets, airline boarding cards, photos etc.

My husband and I decided not to give gifts for our wedding so I was a little surprised when he gave me a turkey sandwich (I know it’s a little strange) He was so worried that I would be too busy/nervous that I would forget to eat. So he called up a deli and had them deliver a turkey sandwich to me with 2 Hershey kisses and a note telling me he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with me. To this day after diamonds, jewelry, vacations, and spa trips this was the best gift anyone has ever given me.
Here are some ideas (if he doesn’t like turkey) How about the first gift he ever gave you. (if you still have it) or a photo album filled with all your favorite pictures and little stories you wrote describing why they are your favorite. A CD with all his Favorite songs is good also, it lets him know how well you know him and love him. A mirror put a note with it saying “look inside, this is the man I will love all my life. I can’t wait to see what you are seeing”
